Its a classic one...

I'm
attracted to my friend's sister, the situation is we met while we were
in a cemetary celebrated the 7yr death of a friend. Not the most
appropriate situation to find yourself attracted to some1 but I couldnt
help it. I go home and the next morning she requested me as a friend on
facebook and she gives me her number... Over the past couple weeks we
have just been talking and getting to know each other and we've hungout
a couple times this week. Played basketball, afterwards I gave her a
massage in my room and then I took her home.

Today she dropped
th e bomb on me saying she might move to SC, because she doesnt want to
be running up the bills in the house which is noble. I thought I had
time on my side with her but now I dont.....I want to get intimate with
her before she goes or even if she does.

THE PROBLEM

I
really respect my friend and the fact he might not approve of this, but
as a man I want this girl, she's my type, strong, confident and
fiesty...I want to hang out with her, and just have a good time one
night just her and I ... I guess I'm asking advice to see if the
decision is a good one and ill just weigh out the options and make a
choice based off that..

If hes your friend ask him...i have a sister, and i have friends...i know id be happy to let any of my close friends date my sister, as i surround myself with people i trust and like.

Hopefully your friend will see that you respect him and his sister, and he will give you his blessing to pursue your interests in her...

This is all assuming of course you value his friendship more then your possible courtship with her.

Thats the best advice i can give, in any scenario...your going to have to prepare yourself to let her go too, regardless of what happens. Thats truely going to be the hard part...be it the lost potential, the friend leaving, or the lover gone...

If he's a good friend with no romantic desires or ties to her, shouldn't be a problem. Yes, ask him about it.

I'm with Ka on this. I have a sis as well, although she's married, but if she weren't, I'd be HAPPY to have her get involved with any one of the core members here. You're a good guy, so he should be cool with it. Hell, I'd love to see a couple of girls I've been personally involved with, get involved with some of you guys on the forum. You're good guys, they are good girls.
