| Had my youngest boy out on a playground in a park yesterday. He quickly bonded with a little girl there. Obviously neither of the kids know, yet, about the attraction switches. However, the little girl took right to my boy. My boy, on the other hand, half the time couldn't be bothered with her, but just did his own thing.
For instance, at one point, the little girl called for him to come to her, because she wanted his attention and he wasn't giving it to her. When she called for him, he turned his body away and walked away from her, going to do his own thing. She proceeded to run after him, catch up to him, and get his attention. At which point, he gave her some of his, for a short time.
It was hilarious watching the dynamics. Everything that you guys are trying to learn, and some of us have already "relearned", these kids do without even thinking about it. | |

| Active disinterest is easy before puberty. | |

| It's all in childhood, your son demonstrated how adult men should behave. Let her do all the chasing, and I do concur with Hobbit increasingly more difficult to display active disinterest after puberty. peace, lvoe and succe Ss | |

| In about 13-16 years, the roles will be reversed...well...maybe not for your son. | |

| I agree with Hobitt. Plus toys are more fascinating than girls, of course he is going to tend to that more. |
