I just met this guy...he is a trip let me tell ya. He is constantly keeping me on my toes...

Example:

HIM: well give me a call tomorrow sometime after 3 and we'll figure things out.
ME: oh I have to call you huh?
HIM: hell yeah! I got to work....you can sit around all day thinking of what you are going to say to me to impress me LOL
ME: LOL...i dont need to impress anyone
HIM: ahahahaha, impressions are everything. You should know that as a psychology major, right!...

Girls, I need help keeping this one in his place

So I am supposed to meet up with him on Wed or Thurs...any ideas on what to do? say?

Just go with the flow, dnt feed into your emotions.. Don't let it suck you into the matrix

This is what I see. Him keeping you on your toes is a good thing. After all, you don't want a boring guy . . . right?

So what? Let him challenge you. In return, you challenge him right back. Banter with him really well. He'll love it if he's of any quality.

Meet up with this character...Be yourself mostly, you can always subtly take over the frame. Just relax and have a good time. I can't tell you exactly what to do or say, that would be biased. Be witty, have a sharp tongue, guys like that..it's interesting/appealing....shows them you aren't afraid to step up and that you aren't boring. Sarcasm also works but don't get too negative with it. Unpredictability is always fun!!!

I just dont want to be drawn in too much. I mean he expects me to call him so we can set something up. what the heck. We could have easily done it then or he could have called me. He wants ME to impress HIM (which I dont do).

I guess in other words how can I pull him into my frame? (i guess thats what its called)

LMAO. Yep, that's what it's called. Now why on earth would you want to pull him into your frame? haha. Yes, he's trying to get you to jump through hoops. That's a good and natural thing. But, if you jump through his hoop, you should be rewarded for it as well.

Oh, but wait, you want to be in control, to where the pants . . . lol. Honey, you're gonna butt heads, and frames, with this guy. But hey, you like a challenge . . . right?

You want to overtake his frame, eh? Banter with him. Keep pushing the boundaries with him. See where his frame IS. See how far it reaches. You have to find that out before you can overtake his frame.

Ahem . . . push/pull works just as well on guys as it does on girls . . . but you didn't hear that from me

I agree a bit with Tripp. Why would you want a guy who just bends to your will?

For me looks are only so much of the equation, and nothing bothers me more then a girl without a personality and a sence of self. When im talking to a girl and cant get good banter from her, only "lol's" and "haha's", its such a turn off.

Im sure he enjoys your banter and if your intrested in him (i assume you are) then play along. If you want some more control/leverage be the one who desides when and where to go. If you want to go out, do call him but do it to set the time/date/place, and dont take no (or better yet maybe) for an answer. This way your complying (and thus should be rewarded) but at the same time your not giving up control.

You can be independant and not give up control but still show intrest and have a good time...and like most people im positive your over analyzing it. Play the game back at him, call the shots when you can/want, and have a good time.
