Would you consider trading embarrassing stories with a girl DLV (assume the story isn't DLV for other reasons), or good comfort building because we can all relate to doing something stupid?

I think it depends on what stage of the pickup you're in; Attraction...then obviously not cause she'll prob think you're a tool.

But if you guys have mutual Attraction for each other, and can safely say you're in the "comfort" zone, then sure why not.

When I used to use this form of pickup, I'd had a few stories like this to bust out while in the "Comfort" zone.

Just don't go overboard with embarassing stories.

Anything can be a DLV or a DHV...the same story or type of story...how you tell it is more important then the actual basis.

If your gonna trade stories in this manner, i say its a good thing regardless of the stage. Which stage your in may affect how you tell the story and under what context...but in the end if you do it right it will work.

As an example, lets say your in attraction...use it as a "game", award points and use lots of banter ("wow that story was bad, you get 100 points for being a huge dork"). Ping kino while playing the game. When its your turn, try to add humor to it, show your emotions (an attraction switch), and at the end come out of it positive maybe with a lesson you learned or a driving comedic point.

If your in comfort make it a little more serious, displaying your emotions a little more and also including her more in the story (let her give little tidbits of input along the way, be it an answer to a small question "You've had that happen before, the itch you cant find, annoying isnt it?" or "Ever fallen asleep like that and then you feel like your falling and suddenly your body jerks and you almost fall out of your seat?").

Basically if you can make the story interesting and compelling...it doesnt matter if the material of your story is cool, dorky, lame, etc...its how you tell it that matters.

I had a long post on another forum where i helped people with DHV story telling skills. Ill link it here. I do not respond to it nor do i use that forum anymore...but its got pages upon pages of peoples posts that may be very helpful in illustrating what i am talking about.

(by the way i logged in for the first time in almost a year, ive got at least 10 personal messages asking for DHV help)

Nah, I don't mind the link Ka, but thanks for asking. I think it would be cool to have your knowledge on here though Wink

As far as Ka's point of making whatever you tell interesting, keep something in mind. Mystery and his wings and partners have this little game of seeing who can talk about the same topic and catch the most interest in a set. And, one that stuck out with this game was when Mystery actually talked about Google Earth and made it so interesting that he captured the group. And no, I don't have a video of it, lol.

He controls his voice, the tone, pitch, speed, etc. He catches interest that way.

http://tripp-author.weebly.com for my new book!

Alpha: "Come here, now."
AFC: "Would you mind coming here please, if it's not too much trouble?"

You have one shot, and it's in the first 3 seconds.
Make her qualify herself to YOU.

Don't back down from the girl. CHALLENGE her!
