Welcome to the forum! Great to have you here. You can learn a LOT just by searching what's already on the forum, I guarantee it. Beyond that, we have some GREAT posters that can teach you a lot with current questions as well.

Feel free to ask anything on your mind.

Suggestions . . . first and core one would be to read The Venusian Arts Handbook.

I have the Mystery method, I have already read the game and watched the shows. I just went out on my first field test yesterday. The problem is, no matter how hard I study it and understand the concepts, the field is completely different. I learn more from what I see then what I read.

Hence the reason everyone needs field work to really get anywhere.

First field test . . . so you've got Rules of the Game too?

Here's what would benefit you most at this point . . . you said you "have" the Mystery Method. Have you actually read it though? If you will read that, it's THE basic stuff that you need as far as breaking down the field interactions. It lays the groundwork for what you see and do in the field. You read that, a bit at a time, and go out and practice it in the field. You will see what's laid out in the book and will be able to progress with yourself through the process that way.

If you can get to my city or when I can finally get back to L.A. you could meet up with me as well.

Also, at this point, we have another member on this forum, Ka, who recently moved to California. Not sure how close to L.A. he is, but you could contact him and see.

Yeah, I have slowly been reading the Mystery Method and going out (I have only gone out once). Now that I am a little farther ahead in the book, I understand what went wrong in my sets.

I would definitely like to meet up with you whenever you make it back down to L.A.

I'll try looking KA up and see whats up

Great. Keep going that way. Read a bit, go out a bit. That book will help you with the fundamentals.

Umm . . . talk, lol.

Talk to the girl, tease the girl, have fun with the girl. You can play a game with her, you can "cold read" her such as doing a palm reading, make her laugh, etc. Something to increase her interest in you.

Yeah, but my problem is transitioning. I mean like, how can you go from "who lies more..." to a normal conversation. Someone suggested that I "notice" something like, body rock and then say you have a nice smile.... Someone else told me to ask "how long have you know eachother" Im going out tomorrow can you tell me how to transition before I go sarging again?

Here's the thing. Anyone that I know of that has had a problem with transitioning believes it HAS to be done so smoothly that the girl doesn't "realize" you are transitioning . . . or CHANGING the direction of the interaction. That's simply not true. Either of those that you just mentioned will work just fine. Don't discount those. Use them for yourself because they will work. But what you have to realize is that you can "transition" to something completely different and it will still fly . . . if YOU are interesting. If what you are saying is interesting or you as a person in general is interesting.

Hell, the whole "noticing" something about the girl to comment on or about . . . I use THAT as an opener at times! Not to transition to, but to open to begin with.

The most important thing to keep in mind is the transition does NOT have to be so perfectly smooth that you "slip it past her" that you transitioned from opening to attraction. She WANTS you to move on to the next thing to build rapport, comfort, and attraction, if she has any interest in you. Think about it.

Welcome to the forum Scribble! I'd recomend reading up on Mystery, David DeAngelo, Sinn, Style and once you can get a girl to the bedroom David Shade is worth taking a look at.

Good body language and confidence in your voice is absolutly VITAL. Don't slouch, gesture, eye-contact open body-language, relax and smile. Don't be afraid to touch, hug etc.

Remember girls are just people (and they want to meet guys as badly as you want to meet girls). If you're stuck for something to say ask questions or relate to what they are saying. "That reminds me of the time when...." and "that's just like when..." are very useful for building a connection.

The most important thing though is (you've guessed it) practice!

I know David DeAngelo is practically the originator of the game, Mystery popularized it and Style trained under practically all of the mPUA's but who is Sinn? I heard about him but I have no idea who he is or why he is popular, what kind of style does he have?

Just curious but thanks for the advice

Eh . . . not quite.

DeAngelo is by no means the originator of the game. Mystery is closer to that than DeAngelo. Mystery also trained Sinn, then Sinn at one point "turned against him" so to speak.

DeAngelo does have field experience, but probably has less field experience than any of the PUGs. His thing is actually information marketing. It's just that the PUA arm of that is his main income so far. You'll notice that DeAngelo interviews all of the other big names to make products for himself . . .

Mystery, he put years of work into forming his method through his trial and error and working with the other guys who have since also become big names. He reversed engineered the method.

Sinn and Savoy were, at one time, partners that took Mystery's old company away from him. Those two guys still go to court to fight Mystery over things they want. You don't hear much about it, but it still happens.

Sinn is one of my favorites, he's very direct and I think his style is more adaptable than most of the other gurus. He was voted #2 Pua at one point.
