| I saw make a post about looking for new material and it sparked an idea. Why don't we look at none PUA's for examples of new material. Take a celebrity in a real world situation (not acting if we can help it) and openly discuss their actions, behaviors and mannerisms. I can think of a couple of great examples, some are characters, some are comedians, etc; -Gordon Ramsey (Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares) -Stephen Colbert (The Colbert Report) *Im dead serious* -Joe Rogan (Stand Up, gets heckled by UFC guy) -Dr. Cox / John C. McGinley (Scrubs) Im sure there are many others...we should examine clips and point out the good and the bad. | |

| Gordon Ramsey, lol, that would be the killer analysis there.
Also, I don't know where the clip on YouTube is, but there's one where Jamie Foxx is introducing an un-known comedian, and it quickly becomes obvious why he's unkown, because he's not funny. Jamie takes over the frame, from the sidelines.

| 2 1/2 men is a good one. You can actually analyze both men. | |

| About a month ago I had a discussion about 2 1/2 men with one of the girls I'm seeing, she really hated Charlie, I myself, remeber the days of Emilio and Charlie teaming up in movies when I was a kid, so I always like their shows because it brought me back in time maybe. They were fun guys, like "men at work". But she is too young I guess to understand. Plus the show is just hilarious, that kid cracks me up. Seinfeld all time favorite!!!! Me and pops used to watch it everynight. | |

Seinfeld all time favorite!!!! Me and pops used to watch it everynight. SEINFELD! I love that show...still watch the reruns. Now thats a show where you can really break down the characters. My mom went to a conference awhile back and they brought in a guy who talked about personality disorders and linked one to each of the Seinfeld characters. Sounded like a worthwhile lecture.

| I dont want to take real life examples and have us discuss them only for them to fall down in the ranks of the pages below, this kinda discussion has to be more beneficial than just a typical forum discussion that we have. Some how we need to be able to make this an example for newbies. As well as others... | |

| I have no problem with this thread being stickied, but maybe in the Off Topic section just so that we don't keep cluttering the Beat.
But, I can't personally go through and break each character down. Just don't have the time for that. So, if you guys are up for that, let us know here and we'll take care of this thread.
